Beyond Surface

Beyond Surface challenges perception and invites us to consider how little of a person is truly visible from the outside.

This painting explores the divide between how we are seen physically verses who we truly are inside. The faceless, idealised body reflects how the world can reduce us to appearance, while the head explodes in colour and motion to represent our invisible thoughts, point of view, personality , and the depth of our hearts.
